The Koopa Bros. are a group of Koopas, each with a different shell color. They are one of many groups trying to take the Chaos Emeralds. They are loyal members of the Koopa Troop, led by Bowser.

The Koopa Bros. meeting Bowser and Eggman.
The Koopa Bros. made their first appearance in Bowser's Castle, upon being summoned by the Koopa King himself. They were given orders by Bowser to scout the Mushroom Kingdom to search for the Chaos Emeralds, using the one in Eggman's possession as a point of reference. Before they left, Bowser added that if Mario or Luigi were to interfere, they would know what to do.

Red Ninjakoopa
The Red Ninjakoopa is the most outspoken of his brothers, being their leader. Like his brothers, he is loyal to Bowser and is willing to follow his command.

Powers and Abilities
The Koopa Bros. have displayed the ability to create convincing disguises, having transformed into dark colored Toads in Paper Mario. Whether these forms are achieved through conventional or unnatural means is unknown.
Sometime after the events of Paper Mario, the Koopa Bros. also seem to have gained proficiency with individual weapons, with each member having their own weapon.
Techniques
- The Koopa Bros. Special: Super Spinning Attack - The Koopa Bros.' signature technique is to stack up on top of one another into a tower formation before retracting into their shells and charging at their opponents.

- The Koopa Bros. are a parody of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Each of them also has a weapon exclusive to them, in reference to the individual Ninja Turtle they are based on.[1]
- Red wields Leonardo's katana swords.
- Black wields Raphael's sai.
- Green wields Donatello's bo staff.
- Yellow wields Michelangelo's nunchakus.
- Furthering the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles connection, the battle between the heroes and the Koopa Bros. is planned to use a remix of the music track "Technodrome ~ The Final Shell Shock" from the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time.[2]
- The Koopa Bros. will receive new voice clips starting with Episode 4.[3]
